Renaming Flac files
« on: April 30, 2007, 03:58:29 PM »
I already converted my .wav files to flac. I now notice that I have the wrong date of  them. Can I change the file name on my flac files and be done with it, or do I have to change the name on my original wave files and then reconvert?

I'd prefer just to rename the flac files and make a new fingerprint.

should be no problem to just rename the FLAC files, and create a new Fingerprint.

Rename the FLAC files as needed.  You can create a new FFP/MD5, or you can text edit the original FFP/MD5.

I think its a good idea to make a new FFP/MD5.  You can verify new against old to make sure what you think you got is what you really got.  Also, its a lot quicker...

***Do you have PHISH, VIDA BLUE, JAZZ MANDOLIN PROJECT or any other Phish related DATs/Tapes/MDs that need to be transferred???  I can do them for you!!!***

I will return your DATs/Tapes/MDs.  I'll also provide Master FLAC files via DropBox.  PM me for details.

Sony PCM R500 > SPDIF > Tascam HD-P2
Nakamichi DR-3 > (Oade Advanced Concert Mod) Tascam HD-P2
Sony MDS-JE510 > Hosa ODL-276 > Tascam HD-P2
