Sometimes a venue will allow to fix one's microphones to the ceiling or a post. This is especially helpful in crowded places where putting up a stand is suicidal.
I had
two t-bars (large and small) built of aluminium, that can be screwed or even taped to a convenient surface.

The removable
adapter - also custom - can also be used on my stand. It can be tightly secured with a screw.

The
mic bar is a standard superlux item. A bit heavy but very sturdy.

The
shock mounts themseves are a brand called t.bone and are sold in Germany by Thomann
http://www.thomann.de for about $ 10 a piece. The outer frame is metall, the inner one plastic. Easy to handle and suitable for many mic sizes.
