Recording with CD wave
« on: June 10, 2007, 10:20:12 AM »
hi all
heres my problem. I have a compaq presario v-2000 laptop. ive used this machine to record at a few festivals.before i took it out this year i reformatted harddrive to start fresh, and clean up to start new.ive ude cd wave for recording in the past with good results. i have the newest build of cd wave installed. now after setting everything back up, during testing in my living room when i go to save the file i is giving me an error saying cannot acess this file because it is being used by another process. other times it will let me save the file. i also tried to use nero recording, it does the same thing.
Anybody have an idea why files will save sometimes an other times give me that error?
any help wuold be great
 thanks                     peace

HMMMM, I didn't even know until now that CD Wave could be used to record.  I notice sometimes I get that sort of message when I try to delete stuff.  Some kind of Windows screwup???
