12Volt 7 Amphour = how many shows w/ AD1000 ?

running the phantom power, i used to get almost 4 hours ....now it's getting closer to three, even though the battery has only been used to pull about 35-40 shows of varying lengths


is this right, or did i just buy the lemon  :P  i thought these things were supposed to be good for about a hundred shows ?

hmmm, i still get consistent results w/ my oldest bp-50 from 99!!!

its recorded about 150 shows prolly w/ no hrs loss

3 hours for the AD1k using a 12v/7ah SLA is what I've seen most people report.

how bout guys like jason and dave, who carry all those shepz tube PS's and then an apogee taboot. it's still worth it though, the AD stage is by far the best i've heard.

so 3 hours is normal... how long after the purple light starts blinking does it usually cut ?  i've gone over an hour with that light blinking and not got cut off once.

It's still, to my ears, the best a/d for what we do, I prefer it over the minime, v3, modsbm-1 and ad2k. Great unit for sure!

running tubes and an ad1k would require some sort of sherpa!

not sure about the low light, sorry.

jason and dave run v3's, correct??? if ya mean sideshow and dave b, they run v3's, not being a dick, just thought thats who you meant, no shit tho, the PS's plus all that gear would suck, wonder how long the v3 goes NOT on phantom ???

dont know about the AD1K, but the AD2K+ cuts off after about an hour, BUT you will get this weird static noise on the recording for about 45 mins of that hour!

yeah, not good at all.
found out the hard way at a Biscuits show last month
of course, if I had asked my friend whose gear I was using what the runtime was, I could have avoided the situation...oh well
