Thanks for the concern and the explanations. I can see a certain logic behind the way the gain is spec'd on the R44 and others, I just don't find it a compelling logic
Luckily, the 'translation' is a no-brainer.

Same thing with the 480s, flip that switch to +6db on the bodies and you're running hot!
