I just received my CA-14.
Chris did forget to add clips to the mics as ordered, so I'm trying to figure out another way. I am cheep also and don't want to buy clips for 20 bucks.
On my CA-14 with Mogami wire, they have a little body protruding from the permanent windscreen. The dimensions are 7mm round and 10mm long.
I asked Chris if I could glue alligator clips to them (like the CA-11), but have not heard back yet. I don't know if epoxy will stick to the heat shrink or what ever he uses. So I have been thinking about other ways.
I usually clip mics to my glasses by my ears. I was thinking of a little wire and solder the clip on it and then just twist the wire around the body that protrudes from windscreen.
Also I was thinking of buying some of those cheap earphones that rap around the ear and just taping the mic to it.
So far that is all I have come up with. Any other ideas will be welcome.
