Topic: Schoeps for stealth...

Have anyone used schoeps for stealth? I am currently using CCM or CMC6>KC5>MK or NBox>MK...The way I do it is okay but need some advise from others who have also stealth with Schoeps. Pls contact me privately so we can exchange ideas. I do it often but always worry because how awkward it is to point something towards the stage. So need some advise on some techniques how to do it without being too noticeable.

Thanks...Yeah I already have the gear...but find it difficult finding a way to set it up so that it's not too noticeable...I was thinking of concealing the mics inside my clothes but don't know what others do...I cannot wear a hat because no one wears headgear in the concerts I go to. Thanks.

Yes, M-10 is what I meant.  For $200 I've been trying not to buy one....it only has a line in, which works for me, but there is another Sony with an optical in that is a bit larger and pricier.

I've still got my original M-1 that is 9 years old, as well as my DA-20 I bought in 1996.  It is my fervent hope and desire to transfer all my DAT collection by the end of the summer and get rid of the whole shootin' match.

just put your M-10 in your front pocket. you can always wear a shirt with stiff collar and mount some omnis under the collar. another possible way to do it is wear a shirt with double chest pockets and run them inside the pocket just pointing up if they are omni.

I look absolutely stupid in a hat.  Never wear them--not ever.  I look like a bigger geek than I really am.

Oh, yeah, I wear a hat when taping.  Attaching them to clothes has inherent contact, rubbing issues, and is not high enough. 

Get over it.  Move on.  Wear a hat.

Ill 2nd that, but the hat does improve the recording quality (no rub, higher, some wind blocking)
