I think the expensive part is the active cartridge from MBHO!!  I think a set is $400, but after that purchase you could get the audix caps for a good price and the have card, hyper, omni.   A set of PFA's or tinybox and your in business.

They also have a hyper cap, I wonder if they have more than just the one left:

This has got me slightly intrigued...

Are you interested in just the cap for another preamp or the whole mic? I ask because single hyper mics are quite commonly available and very cheap. I think people break up the top-of-the-range drum set, the DP 8 Elite. They include one of these as the hihat mic. I got one for $120. Most definitely the best bang for buck I ever managed in gear purchasing

Just a pair of caps I think.  I asked Naiant and his PFAs will work with the MBHO actives, so should work with these I suppose.

Yeah, looking into it briefly after seeing all this.  400 for the capsule connectors makes it kind of pointless I think.  With that, caps, and PFA or especially tinybox you're not getting much economical benefit as opposed to just buying the bodies.  Also, they're small enough its not like the using the remote caps is that much difference.
