I'm a perfectionist, I like to zoom in to the most exact points I can get to set the trackmark, so I guess it might be an unnecessary step, but I find it more appealing than using another program. That's just me though.

What are the best settings for Bit convertor (Dither / Noise Shaping) and Resample using Sound Forge Pro 10?

Also will it make any difference if you resample or bit convert/dither first?

why track the 24 bit and 16 bit separately??..... track in 24 bit, then the use batch editor to dither the finished folder down to 16/44.1, no fuss no muss.....

I wqould just use soundforge to normalize/dither/resample/EQ/etc...and use cdwave for tracking and cue sheets Then use traders little helper to FLAC and fix SBE's

Got to agree with Bean.  Although of course if you use CD Wave you won't have any SBE's

Not true. You will get an SBEbat the end of each set if you don't make a dummy track

Huh?  You're always going to have extraneous stuff at the end of the recording (even if it's only a second or two) that will be trimmed off after your last split.  Your last split will never have an SBE.
