Sonosax stuff in the pipeline
« on: January 11, 2013, 01:13:48 PM »
Just read the latest 'Sononews'

which includes:

"2013 already promises to be very active and intense for SONOSAX.
Among others:
- Move to a new premises, currently under construction
- Launching new Loudspeakers for consumer and pro market
- Launching a new 2 channels preamplifier, a real "Swiss Tool"
- Launching a new 4 tracks recorder, successor to the SONOSAX SX-R4
We are looking forward to an exciting year, stay tuned for more information"

...just after I buy an R4 (not that I could afford a new one)

I hope it's more than a 4 track recorder :) - the R4 is an 8+2 recorder - with 4 pres and 6 total analog inputs.

A new 2 channel pre sounds promising!!

Sorry, meant to add a link then: http://sonosax.ch/news/SONONEWS_2012_12_EN.pdf

Wondering what else they can do with something the size of the R4?  I'd like the pots on the front to work as faders so you can mix on it.  Colour screen might be on the cards like the SX62R and the SX-ST recorder remote? And a factory upgrade would be nice :)

I'm curious to see the changes. I absolutely love my SX-R4. No regrets with that purchase.

I'd like to see an easier to read screen.
