Flac Windows 10
« on: April 06, 2016, 03:27:58 PM »
Hi,

After being without a laptop for several months, I have purchased a new one with Windows 10.

I downloaded flac but when I have tried to convert a recording from 24/48, it keeps throwing up errors.

I never had any issues using Windows 7 so am a little confused.

Can anyone offer any tips and advice?

Cheers

Trader's Little Helper.
http://tlh.easytree.org/

Works great as a GUI for FLAC on Windows 10 64 bit.
Use it daily

Yes.

I presumed it would but keep getting this:

1 Intro.wav:  error processing file (file's sample rate is 48000, must be 44100 for --sector-align).

Any ideas?

I've just unticked a box and it works.

Sector alignment is only an issue for 16 bit, 44.1 kHz files, so the is no issue to uncheck that box.

Exactly! Sector Align ONLY works with 16Bit/44.1kHz WAV files! Anything higher than that, and you need to uncheck the 'Sector Align' box in TLH :)
