^, ^^ They come in several different varieties (sensitivities, connectors, max SPL, etc.), and the model has evolved over the years, so you do have to check to make sure that what you are buying is exactly what you need.  I have two pairs, one older and one newer, though, and I do like them.  They even have a digital model, partnered with Apogee and equipped with a lightning connector, which would be very attractive to many if there was a stereo version...

I am also under the impression that the MKE2s are the descendants of the older binaural system.
