resurrecting this thread to ask a question!

I have an M2D2 on the way to me, am planning on using it mostly partially open taping, but would like to also adapt my stealthier setup to use it paired with an iPhone to record.

I have Schoeps mk4 caps, and my existing setup is Schoeps Mk4 caps > nbob actives > baby nbox > Sony pcma10.

Would prefer to eliminate the baby nbox and the PCM in this situation - do I just need a different set of nbob active cables? anything else I should consider? thanks in advance for the help!

Best bet is replace them with cmc1ls. The pfa options are gonna counter the benefits of the Sonosax.

will use the CMC1s in my open-ish setup, but would like to use my existing stealth mic setup which means just the hidden caps.

I had nbobs and the cmc1l (lemo) is essentially the same size.

hmm, actually I have cmc1Us, the 1Ls might just work. what would I use for cabling with the 1L?

I had the lemo y cable reterminated with mini xlr5 and then an extension to mini xlr3 breakout for the Sonosax.
