I'm assuming with the Riotbox that the usbc is for charging only! 

riotbox and one of those cables that can do audio in on an iphone ? has anyone tried this with say apogee metarecorder ?

i was referencing the analog to digi audio in cable that has been in retail section. i think there is a usbc and older iphone versions

I've run the mma:a on an iPhone 17 successfully a couple of times at this point.  You basically can't set levels, but that hasn't been a problem so far for what I record.
