Tascam FR-AV2 new compact 32bit float recorder.

In my FR-AV2 I use Panasonic Enloop Pro AAs with 48v phantom. With the Bluetooth off and only the main display on, I can run 3+ hours and still have 60% capacity left. Bluetooth cuts capacity at least in half, that's something I learned the hard way.

thats why I run with an external Anker 10k battery and I get 2 typical (7p-11p) shows, but always recharge between shows

According Curtis Judd the Zoom F3 has 10dB more noise compared to the Tascam FR-AV2.

I don't know where he gets that from - according to the very respected Avisoft measurements Equivalent Input Noise (EIN)
impedance: 150 ohms for the two devices is within 1dBu with the F3 being that tiny bit in front.

Did someone here make a comparison?
I often read that the preamps of the Tascam are better than the ones in the Zoom but I trust Avisoft, which says the opposite. I only have the Zoom F3 and find it absolutely fine for my own use.
