The two Hosa MIT-176's are transformer cables which provide 20db gain to the mics the YMP-137 takes the 1/4 down to mini so that you can plug into the line in portion of the MD recorder. The PS-2 which I am sure you already know provides the phantom power to the mics. The pic is from the Oade website. I actually made nothing I just purchased the cables and the PS-2 and connected them, Oade charges $265 for this rig.
