Mmm...
Just a question. I've got a couple of panasonic wm-61a capsules for testing and doing experiments, and there's something i've been asking myself a couple of times.
Could it be possible to mode the capsules (linkwytz mod, for example), and then, wire the capsules to an XLR plug, so it could run under phantom power?
Well, I know that the max operating power its 10 volts... so my firsts deductions were.
- if I run the capsules under phantom, I might (for sure) burn them
The fact is that I've received a brand new Edirol UA-5, that I have to mod myself (no problem at all) for standalone recording (and if i can, a switch to unmod this standalone mod), and I was thinking in "how could i connect the WM-61A caps to the inputs of the UA-5?"
So XLR was my first thought.
I know there's also 1/4 plug.... that's another choice
Well, I'd like to know what you guys think about.
Take care!
