APPLICATIONS
The FT56 is the superior choice for world’s top professional studios and one of the best vocal mics on today’s market. It delivers a superb vocal recording, with natural warmth and incredible detail. It is an incredibly powerful and versatile mic With graded steps between three patterns, Omni, Cardioid and Figure eight, the LT-56 finds uses in a huge number of applications, from micing a live drum kit, to overhead on a choir. Actually it is that microphone that meets most of strictest requirement in acoustic and vocal fields.

It looks pretty good I only paid $199.99!!! for it so I wanted to see what $200 bucks buys you if I dont like it I can always mod the living hell out of it. This is there web site http://www.ami-orient.com/home.html . I bought this from them directly on ebay. They have a dealer in Canada.

let us know what you think it's like stock.  then throw in a peluso capsule, cinemag output transformer, replace all the caps and resistors, and put in a different tube.

they usially sounds not so bad , the problem each one of them usially sounds different
90% of these mics are based on geffel technology from the 70 s  so what make them not geffel is mostly
qoality control on the components
i picked up  a couple regullars ,not tubes for  less then 200 and can say they work not bad on some bariton voices and guitar amps , when you dont have enouth mics even these are a big save .

What blew me away was he wanted $269 for it and I offered $199 and he said no problem. I am amazed that someone can build something so cheap. I will have to see what its all about I have a real Neumann capsule here from a m50 mic I might toss that in but I am going to wait and see I dont really want to use this M50 Capsule. I love this stuff its like a box of chocolates you never know what one your going to get until it bites, I mean until you bite into it. :) I hope it does not bite. The frequency graphs look amazing provided no one had there finger on the plotter pen when it was printing it should sound pretty good.
