REQUIREMENTS
I've been staring at these mics too. The above numbers are off-the-charts! Great SPL handling, real low noise, huge dynamic range and excellent freq chart. Sensitivity is OK for an LD, but not quite as good as the AKG 414-XLS (23mv), but better than most. Still, good enough for small rooms, up close recording, yada yada. AT claims they are warm sounding in their marketing piece. If there's any chance I can get a loaner, PM me. I definitely want to try these puppies out with the Aerco.
