Post by: mikesalvo on April 18, 2007, 11:37:17 AM
is there any way to change the title/artist/ or album of multiple tracks at one time ??? ??? ???

I havbe been doing it forever one track at a time, what a pain in the arse.

it's been a while since I've used iTunes (anapod convert) but I believe you just highlight multiple songs, right-click and select Get Properties (or something very similar).  iTunes might warn that you're about to modify properties for multiple songs... just click through the warning.

You can then edit any field and it will propagate to all of the tracks... definately useful for filling in artist, album, genre and other track-inspecific info.

Hold the shift key and highlight the tracks you want to change
Right click on the highlighted tracks and hit "Get Info"

Then make your changes it will affect all tracks that where highlighted.

of course, you will have to do all the song names separately, but all the other fields are a breeze doing it this way..
