All these MT problems miff me.  I have never had single problem, ever, with my MT and I tape two shows a week on average.  I think a lot of the bad press the MT received early was do to inexperienced users.  That was a "first recorder" for a lot of people.  Granted it had legit issues like the bug mentioned above; most all firmware based recorders do. But I always laugh when I hear those, "Thats the Microcrapper for you."
