ISO 5/8 > 1/4-20 adapter
« on: March 11, 2008, 03:02:54 PM »
Tried searching around but couldn't find one.  Probably staring me in the face.

I need a 5/8-27 female > 1/4-20 male adapter.  Any help appreciated.

I think you're probably best off using a 5/8-27 > 3/8-16 adapter + a 3/8-16 > 1/4-20 adapter.  The 3/8 will come in handy eventually.

Lots of options for 5/8"-27 > 3/8"-16...

Oops, got the other one backwards.

...but only a couple options for 3/8"-16 > 1/4"-20...

3/8 > 1/4 (set of 5;  I guarantee you'll lose a couple)
3/8 > 1/4 (singleton; you'll be sorry you only bought one when you lose it, strip the threads, or get it irretrievably jammed inside another piece)

Thanks, I figured I might have to go that way...

These are 1/4 female to 3/8 male.  I'll need 3/8 female to 1/4 male.  I did see some around earlier so I'll find them again.
