Sounds good to me. I didn't notice anything wrong, everything seemed to be in sync.

The vocals sound right... the organ sounds kind of phasey, so it's hard to tell.  Make sure the "big picture" is right.  Do you have both lefts pointing left, and both rights pointing right?  The vocals will be up the middle and won't matter, but if the keys are switching left/right (like a dual mic'ed Leslie) and you don't have that correct, then it might sound wierd.  If you have SBD Left on mix left, and AUD left on mix right, that's no good.

But given the vocals, I'd say you have the timing alignment right.

Yeah this is a SBD + AUD matrix. Thanks for the help. Thought it sounded pretty good, but this being the first time I thought it would be a good idea to ask the pros.

I was going to say the levels are a bit low - but something else seems odd...

what bit depth is that wav file sample?...that seems awful small for a wav file...that organ sounds very mp3-ish...like 8 bit audio or something...?

When I open that file in Audacity and normalize it - the resulting exported wav is 8.4 MB...

wierd...

it wouldn't open for me in winamp, so I changed the extension to mp3 and voila!

it's a 56kbps/24kHz mp3 - kind of hard to make any sound quality judgements on a file like that

any chance you could post something with a little better quality?

sounds good - nice balance of SBD & AUD

just curious - what did you set the delay at?

i'll do anywhere from 0 up to 20ms normally, depending on the room, type of music, etc
