AT822 replacement capsule?
« on: May 11, 2008, 01:52:40 AM »
I have an AT822 Stereo mic that has a left capsule that's going bad.  Does anyone know what capsule is used and where I could get a replacement?

TIA

Rumour has it that it is a Primo capsule.  But it is probably not cost effective to replace.  Match may be supect too.

First thing I would do is take it apart and look for mechanical (dust, windscreen), or solder/wiring faults.

Please DO NOT mail me with tech questions.  I will try to answer in the forums when I get a chance.  Thanks.
