Perhaps I'm not interpreting this correctly, but it sounds like we are missing the obvious here... If the Church mics are standard 1/8" stereo plug... plug them into R-09 "mic in" and turn on the plug-in-power. That's what it's there for, and it should work fine.
A battery box usually sends 9V to the mics, and the R-09 sends something like 3V. Sometimes you need that 9V to avoid distortion at loud shows with AT853's, but I think the Church mics will be happy with 3V. If that's not enough, then you need to make/buy a cheap battery box.
Trying to make those church mics work with your PS/2 or 3 wire battery box is trying to force a square peg in a round hole. Any effort to make that fit will cost more than a cheap battery box.
