Found this on the nature group...


"Tascam told him they were coming out with a version of the Tascam DR1 which
would have XLR jacks, plantom power and upgraded preamp. "


Won't be until late this year ... or whatever. (when ever)

Nice. That's exactly what I think Edirol should do with the R09HR, raid the R44 parts bin and mash-up the two models. :)
