onstage mics / matrix question
« on: September 09, 2008, 07:39:50 PM »
I have a pair of ADK A-51S type V  condenser mics and was wondering if these would work in an onstage  set up for doing a matrix.  My other option is a pair of Oktava MK 012 condenser mics. It is a small stage, probably 12 feet wide, in a small club.I was thinking of doing an X Y configuration but I am new to onstage mic placement and doing a matrix. Any idea's, pointers or other places I could get info on this?
Thanks!

I'd get the omni caps for the MC012 off of ebay and use split omnis onstage.  >:D
