I think I'm going to get a pro dig 7 > Coax in cable and maybe pick one of these up to split the signal if someone wants to patch. Will this work? The active cable is just a little out of my range right now. Thanks

I use one of those all the time.
I run a M1 so I carry a splitter with me and split off the lead deck...leaving the extra out for the D7/8ers
