This looks like the one I have:
http://www.skbcases.com/industrial/products/prod-detail.php?d=s17&id=310&s=pI can fit a lot of crap in mine (I have the divider system, not pick'n'pluck). I have a Canon 1DMk2, 2 flashes, 100-400 zoom, 85mm, 135mm, 28-70, 15mm, Pocket Wizards, and a bunch of cables, batteries and other oddities. With all that stuff in there it gets pretty heavy and awkward to carry long distances, but it has wheels so you can roll it. My only complaint is that the wheels don't stick out from the body very far, so it can be a bit of a pain to pull it across surfaces that aren't very smooth. But I think that it's design is pretty similar to the Pelican with respect to the wheels. The Pelicans have a little nicer latch and handle design, but not enough to worry about (IMO).
That Pelican 1600 is a monster. What kind of gear are you going to be toting around?
