« on: November 10, 2008, 04:46:06 PM »
Hey folks, just have a quick question about this item.. there are TONS of pages on here, but I'm sorry, I don' have time to search through them right now..  had a few quick questions:

1)  can i use lithium ion batteries with this? not rechargeables, but the energizer lithiums
2)  do i buy a sdhc card? or a regular sd card?  is 8gb alright?
3)  i bought my unit on ebay.  it said new, but i realized it's a factory re-pack.  should i be worried??  used it the other night and it worked fine.. knock-on-wood  ;)

thanks for the help!

1 - Yes.
2 - Either is fine, 8 Gb is an SDHC (BTW). It's probably the best price-point at the moment (i.e cheap). 8 Gb = 9 hours 1 minute of 44.1 kHz @ 24 bit or 58 hours 15 minutes of 320 kbps mp3, which BTW sounds excellent (useful for non critical recording).
3 - I wouldn't worry, but if the review didn't mention it you can open a dispute with PayPal. Item not as described...like this cat I bought...

"Ready for adoption now. A female Burmilla kitten. She is already dexesed, vaccinated x 1, wormed, flea free and vet checked. She is a very smoochy, purry girl and a lap cat. She loves people."
