AKG c34 windscreen

So I have my second c34 but I have never had a actual windscreen for it. Anyone know where you might find one that fits?

I have one here I'll bring by one of these days.  Never actually used it.  It's a bit of a hack job, but it might just do the trick.  It's two medium thickness foams glued together with a dead rat cover that slips over it.

Kind of like the first "screen" I made by cutting the top off of one AKG c1000s screen and stuck the other on top...

i have looked for one that fits the c34 for a long time, and have not found anything. i've used one that is made for the c422, just to have something covering the mic.

I use the WS69 I bought for my USM69i.  A bit big, but protective...

Yep, I looked for a while too with no luck at all. I have the body specs & even tried to find a generic screen to fit but no luck.

i too ordered one of these from AValive and just got an email saying it will be 4-6 weeks before they can ship it, eventhough it said in stock on their website. did you get this same email stagger??

I did and I just sent them a fairly testy message for it. Right now I still have it coming but if I can get it elsewhere, I'll cancel. Its fine if it isn't in but don't say it will ship in 24 hours... Now its Monday and too late to do anything else for Asheville...

I Emailed that other place to see what they can do.

That's where I got my custom foam and dead rat.  I forgot the price, but it was cheap.  The dead rat was very nice, but the foam...not so much, and doesn't fit as snugly as I expected.

Rebekah claims they can make one to fit the c34. I just sent her the exact dimensions so I'll see what they can come up with. Wonder if they can get it to me by Thursday
