I'll be recording mainly classical music....2 reasons why I like to use wide card...I like the omni sound (sound open and not too tight in a quiet recording session).
recording live classical concerts
recording 4 tracks (with another pair of omni)
I already used both omis (CCM2S and DPA4052).
For the Schoeps I like it's cleanness...For the DPA I like how it picks up everything in detail and the sound sort of sparkle more.
I've been doing a lot of 4 track recording:

Using my Schoeps CCM2S and DPA4052>SD442>SD722 (for violin and piano)
So now I want to use a pair of wide card with a pair of omni in a 4 track setting..
Confused if I should get Schoeps or DPA. Schoeps set up is more expensive, about $1000 more than DPAs.
If I'm not happy with the mics after purchasing them would both brand fetch a good price if I want to sell them? I don't know which brand is more demanding in the used market. I tried to get used DPA4027 or MK21H > KCY 250/5 Ig > VST 62 IUg to try out but no one seem to part with them. If I like them I'll keep them but if I'm not too impress with the results I'll sell them.
If I buy/keep the Schoeps setup (MK21H > KCY 250/5 Ig > VST 62 IUg > XLR cable (specially made)) I might buy the MK5s in the future. So that is another benefit of getting the Schoeps setup. But the start up setup is over $1000 more than a pair of DPA4027s.
So really confused what to get....
