measure frequency response in audition 3
« on: April 21, 2009, 04:47:50 PM »
Hi-I'm trying to measure the frequency response of my phono cartridge/phono preamp using Adobe Audition 3. I have a test record with a frequency sweep from 20hz-20khz and would like to end up with a response curve to see if there are any serious dips or peaks in the cartridge. I hit the record button and then play the sweep and then have a waveform that basically gives me an idea if there are any dips or peaks, but would like to see an actual graph. Any help would be appreciated.
I did try this is Wavelab, but the curve seemed way out of wack.

Going from memory here, and an older version of Audition, but I think from the main menu:  Analyze | Show Frequency Analysis.
