Hey there,
Trying to decide if I really want to bring the V3 in for the dead in Denver. Is it really worth all the extra space? Likewise, if I do bring it in should I run the HPF at all. I know that the schoeps can get a little bass heavy. Thoughts? Experiences? Thanks!

hey barrett!! are you borrowing the 4v's or did you make a new purchase?? definately bring in the V3 and don't bother with the HPF. If the bass is too heavy, that just means you need to upgrade your playback system!! besides the 41v, the 4v is my favorite schoeps cap!! are you planning on running up front, or in the section??
Not mine...But hopefully in the near future!
Now, more than ever I want to join team schoeps!!!!! They are a buddies here in town, he used to tape....same old story not a taper anymore. They have been sitting in a storage unit for at least 7 years. I finally convinced him to let me play around with them. I will be in the section, hopefully! No taper tixs, just looking to clamp. I will have them for the summer so I'm way pumped!
