I think DVD-A and SACD mastering software and playback systems are still expensive. I've heard that the Playstation 3 can play DSD files. I found this link, but have never tried the process:
http://www.ps3sacd.com/dsddiscguide.htmlProbably cheaper/easier to build a PC that hooks up to your audio system through a digital link and playback 1-bit files through that.
Is there a good non-proprietary way to `process` (edit, firstly) these files?
A way to store them?
I mean: storing on DVD-R/bluray, yes, but for playback purposes? Can we burn a disc that can be played?
