which source sounds better to your ears
« on: July 18, 2009, 01:39:08 PM »
Been trying out some new gear recently and finally got to tape my first show. Looking for some feeback so.... using your playback system / ears which track do you think sounds better?

or is there a track that you think would sound best using some sort of post processing?

tracks:
www.prettytheworld.com/temp/Mixdown.zip (file is ~100mb)

Thanks
-Derek

I think "Mixdown (2)" sounds the best. The other tracks just suffered from bass that was too boomy.

I'm really curious to find out what each source is.

2 or 4?  1 is definitely the boomiest, 3 sounds like the vocals are a little thinner to me?  but i am using some shitty sony headphones here at work (mdr-g57).  8)
