Would this mic be suitable for our Live concert recording needs?

I've been looking at the new stereo mics (there are two of them). They look like quality capsules and construction.
They would probably be fine close up, but I like to run mics "near coincident" (DIN, ORTF or whatever) to get a more pleasing stereo image (and to get a narrower recording angle).
If I had a choice, I'd much rather have a pair of small condensors (Beyerdynamic MC930 are a favourite of mine). More flexible and might sound a little better.
The stereo mics would be most suited to video camera work (up close), or perhaps clamping up close somewhere. May be also suited to acoustic music more than rock and roll. At least that is how I feel about the AT822/825. Of course, I'd like to hear samples with the new capsules, but I wouldn't want to pay top dollar for the mic. (Street price $400 IIRC.)
