I never noticed this before... Glow in the dark gaffer's tape. Sweeeeeeet. 
Seriously... I would love to have that on the legs of my stand, it should reduce the wookie tripping statistics.

If it actually glows well in the dark, that's pretty cool. I'd like to hear from someone who has tried it. I've found a lot glow in the dark products don't "glow" too well. Perhaps this is different.

I went to the local craft store and bought some acrylic primer and acrylic day glow paint. Then I painted my stand base and when it dried I covered the legs w/ clear packaging tape to prevent chipping. Worked great and I believe it stopped a few folks from trippin' on my stand

I get my gaffers tape at Guitar Center. Never a low price in that store, but it's convenient.

I bought a roll of this:

And wrapped a length of it around the bottom of each leg.  It glows extremely well.  The problem is that, by the time I get into the venue, it's been glowing brightly inside the bag for hours and isn't too visible by the time the show starts.  I could do away with the bag I carry it in, so that it's constantly "charging" in the ambient light until the lights go down in the venue, but ultimately decided that would be more trouble than it's worth.

I made a thread a while ago about a brand of SUPER glow in the dark paint that I was thinking of buying for this purpose.  Never pulled the trigger on it, but I'd say if you're thinking of getting those legs to really glow, this stuff is probably your best option:

i buy the hot pink gaff tape because it's so damn hot. i don't know about the glow in the dark tape....doesn't seem like it would work well...but who knows.
