DPA 4022 Voltage Question..

Hey all,
   So I recently got some DPA 4022's, I've only used them 2wice so far and like them. But I have a question for anyone "in the know"... I just got a Naiant Midbox, and it has the low (9V) and the high (48v) output voltage for the mics.. The mics work with either of the voltages. So I looked on their website, but it dosent say the minimum operating voltage for these.. I'd assume that in 9v I'll get linger battery life from the pre, but will any of the sound be sacrificed or any issues with high volumes? I'll run at 48v to be safe, but I wonder if it an option to run a 9v. If so I can run them off a Church Audio 9100 as well, right?
Any thoughts?

the dpa compact mic line (402x) are all 48v mics.

I suspect that 9v setting on your preamp is for plugin power based mics and not for phantom based mics, but ask Jon to make sure.

On occasion I have run 4022's directly into a first gen Microtracker which is only capable of supplying 30v phantom power.  Tried this using both low and med sensitivity input settings with surprisingly decent results.  Never overloaded, even standing in front of a pa speaker.

This question came up before and I emailed and asked the US distributor what was the minimum voltage required for my 4023.  I believe it was 30v, but I can't remember for sure, and I am too lazy to search.
