If someone has a Countryman EMW lavalier microphone with a hard-wired XLR connector, can you open up the XLR handle and tell me how it is wired inside?
Red to ?, Black to ?, Shield to ? Any resistors or anything else?

There is a lot of stuff in there 20 or so resistors a few transistors diodes and capacitors.
