Tascam DR-07 coming to an end...

Hello:

Just a little FYI, the Tascam DR-07 is nearing the end of it's life. We just received our last shipment and I am told that there are no more.

I love mine. Great for a backup recorder (patch into someone else when you're running your regular rig), or for a board patch to make a matrix...or for  >:D

i also just got one a couple months ago.  i wouldnt be too worried, seems like a solid product.

Nothing to be worried about - Tascam comes out with new recorders every year. This is the normal course of things, that's all. See the retail space forum for a special on this....

How long does support generally last for on a discontinued product from Tascam?

Got it in the yard sale from someone for $110. who got it from Musician's Friend on their Stupid Deal of the Day.

If it last's 1 year....  1 year.....  you'll have your money's worth. 

Don't sweat it.  $110 is dinner for two @ Morton's Steakhouse.     ;)
