I gotta say, you look at the Graphs and they don't seem to be what you want but... for far field recording... maybe so.

Thought the MBHO mics were gonna pull of this sound signature but they were anyone's guess depending on lot.

MiLab is clean clean clean, they pull off the mid high, and high end peak with grace, not harsh at all.

Great set of mics.  Here's to more VM-44's in the field.

I generally agree. It's like MBHO had an idea, but the Milab's took it to fruition.

They do sound sweet. There was a Furthur show from Mt. Aire that sounded fantastic as well. About how much do these sell for?

I've been running the VM44 now for about 3 months.  After having run AKG, Neumann, Schoeps, and Soundfield, I can honestly put these mics right up there with the best of them.  I don't see myself changing gear for quite some time.  A really great sound with the Milabs.

He hooked me up for a real fair price. I love these mics. Wish we had a good mount ... but think that's being worked on.
