Problem with a torrent I started
« on: July 22, 2010, 05:29:44 PM »
The problem is the show I uploaded would go to 99.8 and appear to hang there never completing. I email etree with no response. I have done a couple of others before and they worked just fine. Any suggestions? Yes I am lost.

did you possibly alter the .txt file after creating the .torrent file?

I would say that may be possible. I really don't remember doing that. But I could have updated something in it and the size makes sense. Any suggestion to fix it?

the only way to fix it is to create a new .torrent file and upload it as a "fix"
people can download the new .torrent file and point it to the original folder
and only the missing pieces will be downloaded and they can finish up in no time

I've done this many times, if you can remember how the file was before you changed it, edit it back to it's exact orginal state and click re-check data in your torrent client, if it matches the txt you initially made it will complete. Otherwise, yeah, new torrent time.
