first matrix attempt -- critiques?
« on: October 11, 2010, 04:09:51 PM »
This is an acoustic folk act (two guitarists/vocalists) playing in my basement, no PA....Shure KMS32 on a stand 4 feet up, roughly 2 feet in front of the band, plus CA-11s split 8 feet wide on a ceiling beam 8 feet back and 10 feet up. I went with a 50/50 matrix, and I think it came out fairly well...KMS32 is in the middle of the stereo image, and the CA-11s are on the sides....

I'd be glad to upload the each of the raw recordings if anyone would like to hear them as well. Thanks TS!
