is anyone still doing this? and what's a ballpark for the going rate?

Busman did mine it was $145 with 12ft mini xlr cables.  If you just wanted the mod if would be cheaper.  He told me that mine were the last set he was going to do, but you can always ask.  Also, you can contact Chris at Church audio I think he qouted me $130.
