Tiny Recorders with independient levels L/R?

The subject says all, I need to record two different mics and sound sources in the same portable recorder, but I need to balance this sources, wich recorders have independient levels L/R?

what kind of mics?
2 mics as in a stereo pair or 2 different mics?
i don't know of a tiny recorder with l/r level adjust but most likely you will need a batterybox/preamp which will open up your l/r options

the original micro track had independently adjustable left/right channels; or they could also be linked - user setable in one of the menus

If I remember correctly there should be the Korg MR-1, too. Smaller than the Marantz.

rockbox on any iriverh1x, 3x.. I even have it running on an ipod nano with a custom line in adapter

I am pretty sure the MINIR82 has independent gain knobs.  Physically small, to be sure, but not in terms of price!  And you have to deal with the odd connectors.  But, if you have the cash, maybe it's worth considering...

Moooose is right. 

The Korg MR-1 has separate gain settings for L and R mic input channels.  There is no external gain dial. You have to make the adjustments via the menus, which can definitely be a pain when you need to make a change in a hurry.

This feature is not found on the newer Korg MR-2.  The MR-2 adjusts the gain of both channels together, like most other small recorders.

MR-2 = Overpriced junk - I can't believe Korg replaced the MR-1 (which IMO is an excellent recorder - I have 2 and use them as my primary recorders) with the MR-2.

maybe i am lost but doesn't the mic depend on if you need a battery box/pre??
if you are running 48v mics whether its on 2 sound sources or not you can't just plug them into a tiny recorder (like the iriver) even if it has l/r adjust knobs
you are going to need a recorder that will supply 48v and give you l/r
where as if you have plug in mics you might get away with the recorders power and not actually need the battery/pre

basically though depending on your mics and what they need for power you may not need l/r on the tiny recorder itself because you could use the battery box/pre l/r
but again maybe i'm lost here

with that said - like flipp said the mt1/2 is a tiny recorder with l/r and i would say its "tiny"

^ Hasn't the Microtrack developed a pretty bad reputation around here? I've never owned one, so no real experience, but it seems like lots of people have problems with them. I'd do some research before going down that road...

Yes, lots of folks have posted horror stories about the MT 1&2. Lots of other folks, me included, have never had a problem. Seems if you get a good unit it functions as it should but if you get a lemon it will always be a lemon, latest firmware updates or not.
