I have a pretty solid recording. The levels were in the green for the whole show and after a few listens I think it sounds clean for the most part. This was an energetic punk show, and while watching the drummer throttle his cymbals was fun, it just sounds like splashy white noise in the recording. Is there anyway to reduce that cymbal noise in Audacity without also losing clarity on guitar and vocals?
I've been messing with the equalizer and trying some other rudimentary stuff but nothing seems to really push the cymbals into the background without also reducing the clarity of the melodic instruments.
