'seemless' is not exactly that. there is still loss of data, so make sure to press FF when there is a bit on silence. think of it this way, how long did a DAT switch use to take, now the time is dramtically reduced.
Wait a minute, did you mean 3 hours straight up, no setbreak? If so, wow.
if thats the case, id update your firmware to 1.40.06 so you can just set it on continuous, and at the 3 hr mark, it will start a new track

This *will* be audible. Running continuous would potentially put your break in the middle of a song at the 3hr mark. Better to do it manually so you can start a new file between songs and not miss any of the music. Still beats flipping DATs!
