free (or inexpensive) dvd audio ripper
« on: February 26, 2011, 11:27:38 PM »
i just want to rip LPCM (and AC3 sometimes) from DVD Video discs I have purchased so I can make CDs to listen
to in the car - there are a million out there when I do a search but the free ones all say they have malware by
AVG and I don't really want to pay $40 for one unless it does exactly what I want - sourceforge's lplex almost
seemed like the ticket but sadly it doesn't really work that well under most circumstances (even the beta 0.3 version),
end up with 44 byte files a lot of times

any suggestions?

http://avidemux.sourceforge.net/

  • File -> Open -> Select the first VTS*.VOB file.
  • Audio -> Main track
  • Audio -> Save
