Whats the asking price and what do you intend to use it for and with?
Is it modded by Busman or Oade?

Datbrad here uses it to transfer DAT, I do believe.
It's limited to 16bit if that plays into your decision.

hahaha never happen, PHiSH is waaaaayyyy better the WSP

They both ain't got nothing on MMW... Money spent wisely if you ask me...

FYI, it is a kick ass recording of a bunch of pretend-a-hippies talking.

Also, if you decide you don't like it after purchasing I think it would be a hard re-sale.
I have a busman mod 660. I love the fucking thing but, I will definitely not get even remotely close
to what I paid for it if I were to sell it today. It sounds unbelievable with the mod, it's the fact that no one is
buying 16bit anything these days around here. 24bit is now the standard entry being so cheap for
say an m10 or r-09hr.

When I bought my 660 people were still snatching up nomad jb3's and svu meters and were still full bore on the 16 bit starting out.
Today, not so much.
Personally I would go with an hd-p2. That or one of the smaller decks will be my next purchase with a littlebox.

I still have mine and it's great for DAT transfers. In the field, I ran a SBM-1 in front and only used it as a bit bucket. I would agree that unless you don't care about the 16bit limitation, look for something else. In the field, the 670 and the 24bit 671 must be used with an external power supply. The battery sled is unreliable and slight bumps to the deck can cause it to shut down unexpectedly.

As far as price, I would say around $400 is about as high as you should go, and that should include the Marantz AC adapter.

Thanks a lot for the comments. I am not buying. The 16 bit argument and the size did it.
